Linux.conf.au diversity delegates

A "diversity delegates" program has run at linux.conf.au in 2009 and 2010, sponsoring members of minority groups to attend the conference.

Two new funding programmes were added in 2010, to increase regional and socioeconomic diversity at the conference. These were sponsored by Internet NZ, and the successful applicants include open source contributors from Tuvalu, Tonga, and the Phillipines, as well and delegates from within New Zealand with disabilites. All sucessful applicants could not have attended without funding assistance.
