Python Open Mike was a project spawned by the Python diversity mailing list to increase the diversity of voices in the Python blog world. The idea is that even if you don't have your own blog, you can post on the Open Mike blog, and it will be syndicated to Planet Python and so forth.
As of 2014, the project no longer exists due to the end of Posterous Spaces. However, if anyone wishes to restart Python Open Mike, email the Python diversity mailing list.
