The Python workshops are short introductory programming workshops in Python focussed on women. They are similar to the RailsBridge events in the Ruby community.
Some of the events run under the name of Python workshop and some under PyStar workshop, the latter using a forked curriculum available from the PyStar website.
Cities
- The Boston Python Workshop began in March 2011 and had, by April 2012, run 6 times.
- PyStar Minneapolis began in March 2011, and had, by April 2012, run 4 times.
- An Indianapolis Python Workshop ran in April 2012.
- A Melbourne event was planned in 2011, but does not seem to have run.
