Sarah Stokely is an Australian public relations professional, longtime freelance technology journalist, and media lecturer. She founded the Girl Geek Dinners held in Melbourne and is a major volunteer in the Open Australia project. She presented at linux.conf.au 2009 and also organised the LinuxChix miniconf that year.

Sarah was the launch editor for the Australian edition of Lifehacker and an instrumental contributor to the re-design and relaunch of the Crikey website, and the development of the Crikey blog network. Sarah's commitment to reporting on the tech industry was rewarded in 2004 with a Best General Technology Journalist award at the IT Journalism Awards. She also runs The Open Source Report - a website dedicated to reporting news on the Open Source Industry.
