Lots of good stuff over at http://shakespearessister.blogspot.com/2009/06/still-not-wanted-girl-geeks.html in the comments. Does anyone have time to go through and list some of incidents/issues onto their own pages? --Skud 20:35, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Is there no positive view?
I'm a women who likes gaming, my ex-girlfriend is a women who loves gaming even more and is working in the computer games industry, and so I came here to find out something interesting about women in gaming, may it be as players, as creators, as game characters, or games that feature content that women would like... But all there is are reports of men who create/advertise games that appeal to a male audience. I'm wondering if this is just our cruel reality, or if the goal of this article is purely to create negative images. Don't get me wrong, I totally agree that those incidents need critical reporting and visibilty. 77.187.215.77 22:10, October 25, 2011 (UTC)
- Although I cannot speak from a female viewpoint, I can speak from a feminist viewpoint, and I will agree that I have played several feminist games and/or games created by women that could use the recognition as such. Arlo James Barnes 07:28, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
Change computer gaming to video gaming?
Several articles refer to all gaming as computer gaming or computer games. Any objection to my changing this to video games? Seems more encompassing. Leninflux (talk) 10:02, August 25, 2014 (UTC)
