Page name
Anyone got a better name for this? It is covering various things:
- women who have chosen a gender-neutral name at least for some venues
- women who have chosen a male-coded name at least for some venues
- women who are using their legal name, but it isn't female-coded (at least to English speakers)

Just a thought to be written up better: it shouldn't be assumed that all women choosing a gender neutral or even male name are doing it primarily for gender reasons. Some do, but women might also have chosen them for completely different reasons (eg I like trees, I will call myself oak online...) and are then surprised to be presumed male until proven otherwise. This may have implications for the list. We may not want to list every woman who has ever used a not-obvious-female nickname at any time ever. Thayvian 06:34, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
