The explanation as to why it is open for discussion says "incest taboo." Incest is most often a form of rape, so this is most definitely patriarchal in origin.

Swear Word Suggestion

Can I just put forward a suggestion for what could be used as a swear word in replacement for "fuck"? "Nuke." When I was a kid, I thought "nuke" was a swear word because it was used much in the same way as "fuck." In the Weird Al song Christmas at Ground Zero, the speaker says "What a crazy fluke / We're gonna get nuked!" It sounded to me like "We're gonna get fucked" because the word "fuck" has acquired similar connotations of hostility and domination. If an army guy in a movie says "Let's nuke the bastards," he might as well be saying "Let's fuck the bastards" for all it matters in the scene. Nuclear bombs, however, deserve that reputation. They are horrible and deserve to be treated negatively and as an expression of hostility. If we want to address rape culture through taking the negative connotations away from references to "fucking," throwing it onto references to warfare, which we as a culture should recognize as negative, seems like a good approach. --Dragonclaws^(talk) 18:15, March 8, 2015 (UTC)

Reclamation of Fat/Crazy??

Wait, anyone have any insight on how "Fat" or "Crazy" are supposedly being reclaimed? I don't understand. They seem to be followed by comments that clearly indicate they couldn't be reclaimed.

People who are fat are using the word descriptively and neutrally about their own bodies, not as an insult.

People who have mental illnesses are using "crazy" about their own mental state and experience.

Body-, Sexuality-, and Kink-Shaming?

I noticed that the general view says "no slurs or phrases that rely on body-shaming, sexuality-shaming, kink-shaming, and so on", but there are many such slurs listed under neutral. I see this article is protected, can an admin fix this? Thanks.
