I don't have time to revamp the PHMT page right now, but it seems awfully one-sided. PHMT is often used by feminists and pro-feminists to show that fighting patriarchy is in men's interests as well as women's.

Agree, tried to fix it, but it probably needs a whole rewrite.
- It's cissexist to suggest that trans men don't have male privilege and don't benefit from patriarchy. So should not we explicitly state that transmen issues should ideally be taken up by "men adversely affected by patriarchy groups" or groups dealing with gender diverse people. Well, Mia, perhaps that is because this argument that Patriarchy Hurts Men Too isn’t meant to appeal to those who are already fighting the fight for the oppressed party based on the affects on the oppressed, it is supposed to make the privileged party question how that construct (of patriarchy) is potentially damaging to them. The sad truth is that we live, in the Western World, in a largely neoliberal individualist mindset, a vast majority of people who fall into this privileged category (men, particularly white cis heterosexual men) have never experienced disadvantage or oppression of the other side of the fence so will not come to the party unless self-interest dictates it necessary. 131.170.5.4 00:29, April 30, 2015 (UTC) #WhiteGayCisMaleFeminist
I think this page is missing a range of voice.

This is the most reductionist over-simplified view of gender especially relating to trans people that I've ever read.
