Who not comment on the massive harrasment her recived during this ordeal?
Oh wait. he is a man so why would we?
- Probably because he wasn't harassed. Let's not dilute the term just because a man had to apologize for sexism one time in the history of ever. He made a mistake, got called out on the thoughtlessness, and acknowledged and apologized for it. The end. Or do you feel men should never have to be held accountable for their fuckups? And please, let's not pretend holding him accountable was something done only by women, not that there's anything wrong with that anyway. Here's a discussion thread on Metafilter which is full of men talking about the dude's shirtgate screw-up; should you desire to possess more than a Michael Scott level of self-awareness, give it a read: https://www.metafilter.com/144550/We-may-get-a-shirt-celebrating-women-in-science) Metafilter tends to be the one place on the Internet with a mindful userbase and higher-than-average levels of discourse. : Leninflux (talk) 06:11, February 15, 2016 (UTC)
