You know, I get the distinct feeling that there ought to be more here than literally just "transphobia is bad". Maybe a discussion of how transphobia is tied to femmephobia, or maybe a mention of the mixed history the feminist movement has with trans* issues, or even just a section on "What is transphobia?" 76.25.98.17 03:55, March 17, 2013 (UTC)

Definitions?
Transphobia page states that "trans women are women" and speaks of "femmephobia". Does geekfeminism provide it's own definition of woman or femininity? Page should link to geekfeminism's definitions of "woman", "female" and "feminine" or similar words to clarify the difference between woman/man, female/male and feminine/masculine, if indeed there is any difference at all between any of those things. Without those definitions, the article becomes incoherent babble. 12.139.47.254 10:56, January 25, 2015 (UTC)
Linking to Merriam-Webster or Oxford dictionaries will not clarify the statement "trans women are women". Other definitions of "woman" and "female" would be needed for the statement to be coherent. 12.139.47.254 14:01, January 25, 2015 (UTC)

Transmisogyny
I don't want to just remove this section on my own, but I've literally never heard this argument against "transmisogyny" / "trans misogyny" before. It clearly is a word (because people are using it), and it doesn't mean "beyond hatred of women", except perhaps to a hypothetical pedantic Latin speaker, it means misogyny directed at transwomen. There may be other valid arguments against (or for) use of the word, but this really isn't one of them. — EF | Talk.
- Oh yeah, thanks for spotting that. It's total nonsense, I'll remove it. There's one argument against using "transmisogyny" that I know of (which is that it's just the same as misogyny, and calling it "transmisogyny" implies it's somehow lesser or at least different), but this isn't it. - yes, user:Pecc wrote nonsense.
Radical feminism
This page asserts "trans women are women" and is otherwise based on a trans-/liberal-feminist perspective, which is anti-radical feminist. It should take a neutral position between different branches of feminism. (I was going to edit the article to make it neutral, but it's locked.) 71.233.237.54 16:32, October 21, 2016 (UTC)
- Please read Meta:Editorial guidelines. This is not a neutral wiki and we do not condone trans-eliminationism. Monadic (talk) 16:46, October 21, 2016 (UTC)
