Hey, to be able to revert mass vandalism more quickly, you can place

importScriptPage('User:Joeyaa/wham.js', 'vstf');

Making a bulk donation

We at the Tropes Mirror Wikia want to make a bulk donation of all the Rape Trope pages we could find.

They were saved before the "curtain" was dropped when Google insisted on their removal, and I cannot guarantee they have not already been somewhat censored and they will need formatting, but I just thought I'd make an administrator aware just in case anyone wondered why I submitted a bunch of pages to your wiki in one large burst.

I am not sure what formatting practices you have enacted or wish to practice, so I am merely submitting raw source material for your use.

My colleague at the same wiki has edited some of those pages for your use with the appropriate spoiler tags and formatting, so as to better aid your user base in know how to recast these pages in Mediawiki format, and has redirected site links to our own wiki, which is in the process of attempting to be an alternative of TV Tropes.

My colleauge User: Anime Addict was the one who linked everything to our wiki, so if it is your policy not to link to us (since we stil do not have fully functioning links to most of the content), feel free to reconvert those links to TV Tropes if need be, but please, be advised we cannot guarantee some of those links will not be taken down, given how some works and even trope pages are being removed for Content Violations issues under their new policies, paticularly many items in the Anime, Manga, Literature, Videogame, and Webcomic sections of some of the pages we submitted.

If any of your wikia patrons wish to contribute to our site, we would welcome it, but if not, we understand and hope our donation assisted your own Wikia, and we both wish you well on your site goals.

I'm not sure the way your admin handled this situation was optimal, I checked the ip page for the blocked user (expecting to find they made other edits and had earned the ban(as is usual in these "omg the feminists b&ned me!!!!" posts), and no other edits were made to justify a sharp response for a one word edit.

The admin then lied about the reasoning for the ban in the subsequent bans, If you look at the user pages, their only edit doesn't constitute gibberish/nonsense in the first one, and doesn't constitute harassment/intimidation in the second one.

I'm only here because I run a few sites, and if any of my charges was acting this way (Mainly the lying in ban reason part), I'd want to know.

Their edit seems to have the most high-handed edit summary of all time. "Let us not be too presumptious"? And generally editing "men" to "people" is a bit of a red flag on this wiki, there's quite a lot of attempts to turn it into the "how to be nice to people in a totally genderless context" wiki and that's a major symptom. (There's probably a few places where there are exceptions, but it would be a Talk level discussion.)

In summary: yeah, Monadic's adminning here is well within our norms. Thayvian (talk) 23:51, October 29, 2013 (UTC)

Possible administrative issue

I think you should probably look at User:Monadic's actions considering he has been permanently banning a lot of IP addresses for unstated or extremely minor reasons without discussion or a method of appeal. While not explicitly against any rules, it could be harmful to the wiki in the long run and at least warrants a discussion. I posted my opinions on the matter on his talk page and also on an unlisted Pastebin. Due to the privacy concerns of my job, this account is anonymized through Tor and I won't be posting here again. - 85.93.218.204 20:58, November 5, 2013 (UTC)

Rape culture edit

Hello,

I noticed that you reverted my edit of rape culture.  Even though women are more likely to be raped outside of prison, men are more likely to be raped in prison.  This also includes childhood sexual abuse.

While women live in greater fear of rape otherwise, men live in greater fear of other acts of violence, including general assault and homicide.  From how this article is written, it creates a false power balance ignoring this reality.
