Improvements, 2015
We're probably overdue for some rethinking of the homepage... it's been years! What are our priorities? What do we want to highlight, who do we want to engage, and what do we want to inspire them to do?
Personally, the thing I'd most like to do is put more "Get involved!" calls to action really visibly on the front page. The wiki has a regular crew of editors, but we have a heap of gaps in many areas and I'd love to recruit more people to help us fill them.
I'd love to hear from any UX or information architecture people who have ideas! I know I've spoken to a few lately about this so I will point them at this discussion and I hope they'll join in :)
